You talked about me being naive and narrowminded when I said World Jewry backed up Israel; and responded that 'not all Jews in the diaspora are zionist'. My point is the Zionist Jews still provide a SIGNIFICANT amount of influence. The average Jew in the street in the US may not be Zionist, sure.

That doesn't matter much when AIPAC, the ADL and whatnot go and accuse anyone who opposes and criticizes Israel as an anti-semite. When a combat Vietnam Veteran from the more militarist party in the US is afraid of pointing out Zionist influence (Chuck Hagel), and Israel editorials can get away with saying more extreme things than editorials in the US, yes I will say there are enough hardcore Zionist Jews who worm their way into government.

The mayor of my city (Chicago) is a hardcore Zionist who served inthe IDF during Gulf War I.

Of course Palestine would use pan-arabism and later islamism to gain support, it was a REACTION to the Zionist expulsions of Arabs. Pan-Arabism grew as a result of Israel's existence after all. And my point (fitting in to what I typed earlier) was that Arabs did not have the influence in the major governments of the world that the Jews did in 1945-48, and THAT is why Arabs are considered terrorists in the US media, while Jewish Zionists were portrayed more favorable in the US media as well as internationally.

I didn't say they were completely against Zionism at all.

Palestine has used the use of Muslims in other countries to gain political and social support as well, Israel isn't alone.

American Jews aren't as hardcore Zionists as most people think they are, they mostly want peace, like everyone else.
