Evo Morales is *NO* saint, believe me... then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Washington was actually behind this apparently popularly-backed "Autonomy Movement" thing.

Autonomy movement is a separatist project created by the oligarchy of the department of Santa Cruz. They want to have the control of all the natural resources (like the gas and the oil palm crops) and for this, they uses the etnic group called "the cambas", against another etnic group, "the collas". All of this makes a situation like the Appartheid in SouthAfrica, or the balcanic conflict... So awful stuff, with the support of USA

solo como dato el groso de los recursos gaciferos no esta ni cerca a Santa cruz y la llamada querra entre collas y cambas es algo que traemos encima hace ya muchiiiiiisimos años claro que con el contexto se incrementaron las diferencias pero es algo con lo que hemos aprendido a vivir

y autonomia = separatismo ja ja ni siquiera viste de que se trata la autonomia verdad

Ah y lo de los recursos gasíferos lo decía por Tarija (tu provincia) que se va a anexar a la media Luna, capitaneada por Sta Cruz, que también empujó a eso a Beni y Pando.

Pienso que en lugar de autonomía el proyecto debería ser federalismo, así desaparecería el peligro de separatismo y todos contentos. jeje cuantos ismos

En realidad yo no tendría ningun problema con la autonomía sino fuera por lo que dice el estatuto, y como tu dices hay que superar la guerra entre collas y cambas, me parece muy mal usar eso como causal de separatismo, yo pienso que hay de todo en la viña del Señor y para eso debemos tolerarnos como seres civilizados.

Ahora bien si entiendes que autonomía no es separatismo, estupendo. Pero me temo que no es lo que Rubén Costas y Marinkovic tienen en mente u_u

I wasn't aware that separatist adventure had taken such an ugly turn: a racially-related crisis NOW? That's the last thing an incompetent such as Morales needs right now (keep in mind most provinces in eastern Bolivia think themselves different - ethnically and culturally-wise - from the western, more "Colla" side of the country).

While the ever-meddling USA's participation in this particular issue is yet to be proved (we shouldn't forget Evo is in a desperate need of finding a GOOD spacegoat) I wouldn't be surprised - in the least - if it turns out they were the ones moving the pieces.

Que a Evo se le está saliendo de control esto, nadie lo duda, pero creo que subestimas el poder de USA para azuzar conflictos... la maniobra de Kosovo de este verano, fue para desmigajar la union europea, como hace 10 años lo hicieron con la moribunda Yugoslavia
