I think what we need is time. I mean look at England and France or France and Germany they fought for centuries and what happened at the end? They just realized they are brothers and fighting with each other is non sense. So same about middle east all of us are very young we even didn't finish 100 years. We will suffer but in the end there shall be peace. Like it or not from Jews to Arabs and from Persians to Turks or Kurds we just look like each other. From our prayers to our food we have more common points than differences.
Y'know, I should clarify my last comment. It came out sounding crass. I meant it more as a general reference to nations, not races/cultures. I don't like Egypt and its laws but I want the best for the people in it and the nation itself.
"to hate is human to forgive is divine" Alexander Pope. We need to put aside our petty differences. once the Muslims stop blaming Israel and the Israelis stop blaming the Muslims we can come together. We need to recognize that there have been victims on both sides.
I'm an American teen, and I'm Christian, and I'm disgusted that most of my peers don't know a thing about Israel/Palestine's history. It's a rich one, and a bloodied one, and I have so much respect for both cultures; they both deserve so much, they both deserve peace and forgiveness, and yet they get so little.
Seeing this image made me well up a little. I'm just so desperate to see this happen.
How long has it been since I cried like this? Why does it hurt so much to look at this thing? Why did this even need to be drawn? GOD IN HEAVEN, WHY IS EVERYTHING SO FUCKED UP?! ... Just... let it come true someday. That's all I want right now. We can work on saving the planet later. Just stop fucking killing each other. Please.
Once again...THAT kind of Latuff art I will go for ANYDAY! Kudos! And I assume that everybody in his/her right mind would wish for that picture to come true, whether it may stay a dream forever or become reality at one point. Anyone who does not want this situation, even as a theoretical exercise, or a nice fantasy, if you want it that way, is a...well, I better don't say it.
