The artwork is well done and I like the boldness of black on green!
I think some may find the image pretty offensive...like the family members of fallen soldiers...How horribly sad the situation must be for them.
Many said Obama would bring our soldiers home if he was elected but so far he has extended the stay and increased the troop numbers being sent over there to war...such a sad situation all the way around...
I think you definitely captured the tragedy of war...we can see it with Obama now just as we did with Bush before...What a shame!
This is some really strong, moving, emotional stuff you've got there. I really like how the only thing that's really colored is the flag. It really stands out in contrast to everything else. Great job! I agree completely. Adding it to my favorites!
It is completely and totally ridiculous that you take a soldiers death, and mock it. This man died fighting for your freedom and so that you could get online and do anything you want, even mock him. President Bush isn't going anywhere, so you might as well "suck it up."
One thing, you sure do now how to draw. Use your creativity somewhere else.
great drawing, great composition and such...
the only way i can remain in this country after such a disasterous election is the knowedge that he wasn't truely elected, there was massive voter fraud perpetrated by the bush team [link]
Sometimes when everyone is bleeding
I build these borders 'round my eyes
But no-one here can stop this feeling
Waiting for death in one big line... too sad to comment
and too real to hope
THINK FOR YOURSELF - QUESTION AUTHORITY
Truly another masterpiece. I would like to throw in my political two cents, but I am afraid it would cause an adverse reaction on your page that you do not want. So I will bite my tongue out of respect for you and your work
Well, looks like most of the people here are so seperated from reality they could almost be in a Sci-Fi book. Keep it up, and maybe one day you will be lucky if you appear in a history book. Of course, you only will if you don't lose, because the winners get to write the history books.
My latin is rusty, "We who are about to die salute you". I'd like to add, I personally know several young men in this grim situation in Iraq. Some also served tours of Afganistan, thier morall is low, they miss thier families, and they want to just come home, and put what they've done and witnessed behind them. Unfourtunatly Staff Sgt. Clint Shade, of the 10th Mountain Div. out of Ft. Drum New York, has only seen his 2 1/2 year old daughter three times since her birth. This young man has served two tours in Afganistan, and is currently on his third of Iraq. The "stop loss" act has held him in service to date, 7 months after his contract has expired. I pray, everyday, that he, and thousands like him, will make it home to see thier loved ones again. Thank you Latuff, for your images never seem to hold blame for the youths who are simply following thier orders, and for me, they shed light to others on the situation young people, wherever they may be from, wish would come to an end.
