Cartoon I made for a demonstration happened past Saturday in front of Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper building. In February 17, in an op-ed, the paper called the Brazilian military dictatorship of "Ditabranda", suggesting that the period following the 1964 coup d' etat was "mild". Artwork shows Vladimir Herzog dead, wearing a beach shirt and drinking piña colada, along the caption: "The Brazilian military dictatorship, according to Folha de Sao Paulo". Herzog was a Brazilian Jewish academic and journalist who was tortured to death by the forces of repression in 1975.
