In 1998, after seeing a documentary about the Zapatista Movement, I decided to support them producing copyleft artworks which could be used by the Zapatistas themselves as well the solidarity groups worldwide. Primarily I sent some cartoons by fax to the office of Frente Zapatista de Liberacion Nacional in Mexico City. Soon I'd realize that publishing them on a website could be more effective. Then I created the Zapatista Art Gallery. I own them big part of my political experience.
Muchas gracias, hermanos de Chiapas. Mi arte es tu arte.
On the following link you can see mostly of the artworks I produced in that time, kindly hosted by the Ejercito Zapatista de Liberacion Nacional. Unfortunately, I have no high resolution versions.
