PRIVATIZING TERROR, OUTSOURCING DIPLOMACY

The international outcry over the recent Blackwater shootings forced the world to closely examine and appreciate the complex reality of the United States government’s overdependence on private military contractors operating in Iraq.

it's amazing how many people who have never even seen Iraq , or mercenaries who were hired to do the EXACT SAME TASK say " i disagree with the message " .

fantastic job , and very very VERY true .

Great propaganda! While you're not the terrorists who savagely raided from their culture and made them look bad? Hate speech! And honestly anyone can be the terrorist! You're freedom for Jews is already there! While your recklessness takes you to another level. You have no heart.

While this is not always true, many times innocent woman and children are killed and no one cares. To them, it's for "the greater good".

This is biased, unfair, and inaccurate. Mercenaries that the US hires are honorable, former servicemen that just want to keep up the good fight. They don't go killing civilians.

I intend to use this in a project for my AP English Language class dealing with the ethics of PMCs, with proper attribution of course. Is this okay with you?

Pretty inaccurate. Contractors, for the most part, are important in defending diplomats and such. The do pretty good work overall. Lastly, they free up soldiers to do more important tasks.

If you have never been over here, then you shouldn't really make assumptions. News articles are made to make money, bad news sells, bad news where the truth is stretched very far sells even more. In war people die, innocent ones too. You can all feel bad about everyone here and blame it on the people over here. If you want to change something over here, go ahead and do something to change it, but instead everyone is an armchair political expert.

Buy some trashcans and send them over here will you? That's what they need the most. Oh well, I guess I'm only a crazy psychopath who enlisted to kill every Iraqi I come across.

cartoons like these make me sick PMC's may not be trusted by most but come on at least some of these could be accidents almost half the people in the middle east own an AK or some other weapon they can go around with no fear of being arrested it only takes one second of hostility for things to go wrong on the other hand some of them could be psychopaths that dont give a crap about hurting civilians trust me they will go to eternal death but that does not mean that the US is just allowing this to happen for no reason a lot of this propaganda stuff is just that and probably blown out of proportion of course if men hired by the US military make a mistake and kill an innocent bystandard the US would try to cover it up its none of our buisness anyway

Yes, it is an embarassment, but then you remember the fact that many people of age in the US are afraid to enlist.

You think we're hiring mercs because we like it?

i have to say, i really disagree. yes the us does hire out PMCs. yes some of them arjust blood crazy money loveing thugs, but not all. mercenaries are actually really misunderstood. they aren't just some evil corporate private army. black water global doesn't just contract to the us. they have ended several major conflicts in other countrys. i think this cartoon is at least half wrong.

This is probably the most accurate of what's going on in the world. The US is doing and creating horrible things and events and they're holding back the justice that is well over due to be served. Very nice way to portray Lady Justice. 5/5 stars. and insta-fave.
I'm glad you're one of the lucky ones who realizes what's really going on behind the scenes.

US military is messed up being that we have so many convicts and freaks joining to shoot up "hadji". But PMC's are worse because NO ACTION is ever taken against them. Not to mention the people commanding them are total psychopaths themselves.

After these statements you have just lost all credibility at least in my book. How many soldiers do you know personaly? (if your convicted while in the service you dont stay in the service long.) And better yet how many PMC commanders do you know? And The PMC "Soldiers" are usualy assigned to VIP security. They arent out hunting Iraqis. They are engaged and they return fire. and While we are handing out labels (refering to "Psychopaths") Ima call you an uninformed/misinformed dissenter working on assumptions rather than facts.

If your going to blame anyone blame congress. Not Bush congress.

First of all I'm not saying 100% of the soldiers currently serving are screwed up. Some people actually think they're doing the right thing. I'm going by the many MANY news articles available on the internet and home movies of the soldiers in Iraq and first hand testaments from many soldiers who have served. If you don't believe me I'll dig through my archives and find links for you. Trust me, if I meant ever single person then that would include my friend :iconangrybox: which it doesn't.

Bush is a repulsive, UN-elected leader. Even our GAO (General Accounting Office) has said both the 00 and 04 elections had massive fraud favoring the Republican party. It's just that Dubya has too many political cards to face impeachment and prosecution. In short, he's in via a "Coup".

True it was rigged but the whole "democrat vs republican" act is as fake as professional wrestling. Bill Clinton was bad, both Bushs are bad, and so is Hillary our soon to be female president. The president is nothing but a Patsy/shield. When there all used up they replace them with someone else. Hence why the US is always at war with someone.

As a citizen of the U.S., I'm embarrassed to admit that you have a point. This cartoon expresses it very well.

I'd like you to know that the policy decisions of my government do not reflect the wishes of myself, or many of my countrymen.

Genial!

XD
